Laissez le bons temps rouler! Let The Good Times Roll! Designs are not just for Mardi Gras you can use them for any event! They are created in Corel Draw X7. Then converted to Hi-res, PNG. images. Thank you for viewing.

Mardi Gras 2015 falls on Tuesday, February 17. Visitors, please note: Parades will begin on February 6th. Check Parade Schedule section for specifics.

I have added some football designs, text you can use on the Voodoo designs are "AIEEE! We gon pass them some voodoo!" and Voodoo quarterback!

Mardi Gras, or "Fat Tuesday", is the last day of the Carnival season as it always falls the day before Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent.

When creating the designs I try to make them so they can be used for may projects. For example, designs can be used as logos for parties and promotions.

Please Note: All Images are reduced to thumbnail size, this causes a slight blur, but will not print with a blur.

"A design is just a design unless it has a story, then the design becomes art, Bill Campitelle ", you most likely would not buy an expensive piece of art unless you knew it's history If you would like to know why I created some of these designs then please visit the rest of this site.

Here is a tip on how to prepare your images for up-load. First you need a image editor, I use Paint Shop Pro X6. If your are not familiar pixels and megabytes, I suggest download a 30 day "free" trial at www.corel.com. Short and sweet for X6. Open your image in the "edit" window, then go to image size, there you will see your image size and Dpi. Adjust the image as outlined in the upload photo window.
Then make and save the image to a folder called "spreadshirt". Then go to that folder, highlight the image and it will tell you what the bytes or megabytes are, below 10 megabytes and your ready upload. Keep your DPI above 200 and you will do fine. Remember you can't stretch an image. Hope this helps. Bill

Mardi Gras colors. Rex selected the official Mardi Gras colors in 1872. The 1892 Rex Parade theme Symbolism of Colors gave meaning to the colors: purple represents justice, green faith, and gold power. Remember to wear the Mardi Gras colors of
purple, green and gold during Mardi Gras whenever you're not in costume!  Volume/bulk discounts

Muses: Happy are they whom the Muses Love.---Heureux sont-ils que les Muses Amour.

Krewe of Muses is named after the legendary daughters of Zeus. In Greek mythology, muses were patrons of the arts and sciences, as well as sources of inspiration for artists, poets, philosophers, and musicians.

Bacchus, in Greek mythology, was the god of wine and vegetation. R.S.V.P. stands for a French phrase, "répondez, s'il vous plaît"

Notes: I got Gris-Gris for you!

Gris-gris, also spelled grigri, pronounced, Gree-Gree, is a voodoo amulet originating in Africa which is believed to protect the wearer from evil or brings luck. It consists of a small cloth bag, usually inscribed with verses and containing a ritual number of small objects, worn on the person. Mojo is a term commonly encountered in the African-American folk belief called hoodoo. A mojo is an amulet consisting of a flannel bag containing one or more magical items. It is related to the West African word "mojuba," meaning a prayer of praise and homage. It is a "prayer in a bag," or a spell that can be carried with or on the host's body. Alternative American names for the mojo bag include hand, mojo hand, conjure hand, lucky hand, conjure bag, trick bag, root bag, toby, jomo, and gris-gris bag. Although most Southern-style conjure bags are made of red flannel material, most seasoned conjurers use color-symbolism. This practice embodies itself in the practice of hoodoo, where green flannel is used for a money mojo, white flannel is used for a baby-blessing mojo, red flannel is used for love mojo, and so on. Pirate Lafitte and Contraband-Days Visit Here.
Pirate Lafitte, is believed to have been born either in France or the French colony of Saint-Domingue. By 1805, he operated a warehouse in New Orleans to help disperse the goods smuggled by his brother Pierre Lafitte. After the United States government passed the Embargo Act of 1807, the Lafitte's moved their operations to an island in Barataria Bay. By 1810, their new port was very successful; the Lafitte's pursued a successful smuggling operation and also started to engage in piracy.
